TE's OmniReach® Hub in a Pedestal is the ideal solution for deploying fiber to small or rural communities consisting of 12 to 96 homes. Enclosed in a pedestal, this field-friendly unit can accommodate a variety of installation locations and needs. Unlike metal cabinets, the Hub in a Pedestal can be placed in the ground without installing a hand hole or pouring a concrete pad. This expedites the deployment of fiber to the home and reduces overall project costs.

Benefits

  • Right sized to match up with phased fiber deployment in smaller or rural communities
  • Pedestals offer more flexibility for installation locations compared to metal cabinets
  • Field friendly design, craft interface is similar to existing cabinet style offerings
  • Reduced inventory by using same splitter module as larger FDH designs
