Global Connectivity Solutions
ADC’s connectivity product portfolio provides solutions for central office, data center and outside plant deployments. These products support “quadruple-play” services of video, data, voice and wireless that global carriers and cable operators require to retain subscribers and generate new revenue. Several of these products are deployed in next-generation networks, including our OmniReach® FTTX Solutions for the outside plant, FiberGuide® cable management systems, and TrueNet® structured cabling products.
Reducing capital and operating costs are primary considerations of carriers worldwide and ADC’s FTTX solutions enable them to evolve their networks economically. Multiple dwelling units (MDUs) pose unique challenges when deploying FTTX networks and our OmniReach RealFlex™ drop cables, Rapid Fiber systems and high-density frames provide effective solutions for easy, flexible deployments. ADC also offers plug-and-play architectures for FTTX network build-outs for MDU structures where “getting it right the first time” is a competitive advantage for the carrier.
As enterprises and data centers become more fiber rich, they require solutions that can grow as their requirements expand, and ADC products are designed to accommodate future technologies and growth. ADC is a leader in providing data center cabling infrastructure solutions for this rapidly growing area.
With today’s converged wireless applications outstripping wireless networks’ capabilities, ADC is delivering the next-generation Radio Access Network (RAN) to improve both coverage and capacity in high-demand and hard-to-reach locations. We are helping change the way people communicate through our high performance and scalable FlexWave™ solutions for wireless networking. From extending fiber reach, to increasing indoor and outdoor coverage and capacity, to providing high-speed wireless backhaul, carriers consistently look to ADC for reliable solutions that increase revenue, lower churn and improve customer satisfaction.
ADC is well-positioned to meet the diverse customer and geographic needs of the constantly evolving wireless marketplace. Our recent acquisition of LGC Wireless and its innovative in-building solutions expands our wireless product portfolio and accelerates the execution of ADC’s All-IP RAN, creating a comprehensive portfolio of market-leading solutions for carriers and the enterprise.
Wireless Coverage and Capacity
As one of the leading in-building wireless solutions providers, ADC offers coverage and capacity solutions that address customers’ network challenges and take advantage of the accelerating growth in mobile phone subscribers worldwide. Our market-leading InterReach® In-Building Solutions support the wireless voice and data needs of carriers and enterprises providing services on campuses, in healthcare facilities, convention centers, hotels, entertainment venues and other types of buildings.
Our FlexWave™ microcellular solutions for outdoor environments provide coverage in small and medium-sized “dead spots” within our customers’ larger macrocelluar networks and offer a complete line of cost-effective, efficient wireless solutions for carriers who are looking for next-generation mobile service delivery platforms.
With the breadth of our IP-Radio Access Network (RAN) solutions, ADC is well-positioned to grow both in the Americas and global markets by helping carriers and enterprises make a profitable transition to 3G and – ultimately – 4G coverage and capacity solutions.

ADC KRONE
In May 2004, ADC acquired The KRONE Group. KRONE’s brand strength in certain regions of the world has driven ADC to adapt the KRONE name to form ADC KRONE in the Europe/Middle East/Africa and Indo-Pacific Regions. In these regions, ADC KRONE offers the same high quality public and private network equipment and professional services that our customers require to deliver communications to their end users. ADC feels that providing equipment and services under the ADC KRONE name in these regions will enhance how the company serves its customers and conducts business on a global basis.
